Hometown: Naperville, IllinoisEmily is studying Communication Sciences and Disorders and minoring in Music and Spanish. After graduation, she will attend a graduate program to pursue a doctorate of audiology (AuD). She has studied cello for 11 years additionally plays piano, percussion, and mellophone. While at Samford, Emily has performed in various ensembles including a string quartet, percussion ensemble, marching band, pep band, orchestra, and the pit orchestra for the operas Marriage of Figaro, Hansel and Gretel, and Ghosts of Gatsby, and the musicals Children of Eden and Freaky Friday, and 1776. At Samford, Emily is also Vice President of Regattas for the Crew Team and has rowed in the Varsity Women's boat for four semesters. She is a member of the Samford University chapter of the National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association as well as the Phi Kappa Phi and Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Societies, and she has been on the Dean's List for each of her semesters at Samford.
