We have updated Blackboard to the latest available software version (CE8). Users should notice few outward changes, but there have been numerous improvements in stability.

The TLC is the primary point of contact for faculty members utilizing Blackboard CE8, Samford's online course management system. We are available to help develop online course materials, troubleshoot problems, digitize media for online delivery, and otherwise assist faculty members in utilizing this versatile learning platform. (If you are experiencing browser, Java, or other technical issues, we recommend that you contact the Personal Technology Group help desk at 726-2662.)

 

We also offer basic through advanced technology workshops covering various Blackboard-related topics several times a year. Please let us know if you have suggestions for future workshop topics; we will try to work them in if possible.
