Dean, School of the Arts
Milburn Price is dean emeritus of Samford's School of the Arts, where he served as dean of the School of Performing Arts from 1993-2006, conducted the Samford A Cappella Choir (1999-2006) and the Samford Orchestra, and taught conducting, voice, and church music courses. After retiring from his full-time role in 2006, he continued to conduct the Samford Orchestra and to teach one church music course each semester for an additional five years. He continues to donate his time and energy in supporting the School of the Arts today and we are thankful for his encouraging words to our students.
