Our 2021 Scholarship Luncheon will feature Susan Alexander Yates, best-selling Christian author, international speaker, blogger and columnist. Her timely, life-shaping message will be relevant for women of all ages and stages of life: "Anchored in Hope: Finding Wisdom for Every Season."

Susan is the author of 16 books, the latest including Cousin Camp, Risky Faith, Becoming Brave Enough to Trust the God who is Bigger Than Your World and the One (Devotional) Book. She blogs weekly at

Susan is mom to five children (including a set of twins) and grandmother to 21 (including a set of quadruplets!). She and her husband, John, have been married 50 years and live in Falls Church, Virginia, where John served as the Senior Pastor of The Falls Church Anglican for 40 years before retirement.

Proceeds will provide life-changing scholarships to students with significant financial need and challenging circumstances.

Due to COVID-19:

  • Space is limited in accordance with CDC and government guidelines.
  • Masks covering nose and mouth are required (except when eating); hand sanitizer will be provided.
  • Attendees will complete a symptom checklist, and temperature will be taken prior to entry.
  • Luncheon attendees will be seated at either 6-foot conference tables (2 guests) or 72-inch round tables (4 guests) spaced 6 feet apart.
