The April Membership Meeting will feature a homecoming performance by Suzanne and Joe Hopkins. Joe and Suzanne, beloved professional vocalists and Samford parents, will be visiting from Campbellsville University, where they serve as president and first lady. Suzanne is a soprano and Legacy League member. Joe, a baritone, served as dean of Samford’s School of Arts for 15 years.

The Legacy League junior board invites you to participate in some friendly competition on the pickleball courts at Sicard Hollow Athletic Complex. Open to all, there will be skills clinics for all levels, professional instruction, open play, fun and fellowship. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic—water and snacks will be provided.

From America’s Got Talent to prestigious American symphony halls to the Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre come Sons of Serendip, a Billboard-charting classical crossover quartet. A harpist, a cellist, a pianist and a lead vocalist comprise the gifted group whose sound was described by The New York Times as “alive with detail but silky beyond reason.” With stirring arrangements, stellar musicianship, fresh interpretations and inspiring stories, the Boston University classmates strive to “make listeners’ lives a little better—even if just for a moment.”
