    This intensive workshop is for both beginners and those who want a refresher on the basics of writing poetry. Explore topics such as rhyming, word choice and line breaks. Bring your favorite poem to class and be ready to create your own.

    Are you always second guessing yourself when you send an email, a memo, or a letter? Do you tremble at the idea that someone is judging you based on your choice of words? This workshop helps you to understand how your writing reflects both your intelligence and your personality…for better or worse. We will analyze diction, syntax, passive verbs, adverbs and adjectives, and the how each of these creates a voice for you that is effective and impressive.
