The Michael J. and Mary Anne Freeman Theatre and Dance Series at Samford University will present the classic drama 12 Angry Jurors Nov. 7-10.

The play will begin at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 7-9, and at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 10. All performances are in Bolding Studio, Swearingen Hall.

Tempers are taut and the truth is where one finds it in this gender-blind stage adaptation of Reginald Rose’s seminal jury drama teleplay 12 Angry Men. The facts are few—a dead man, a knife—and a boy’s fate hangs in the balance. In setting the record straight, the assembled jurors question each others’ innocence as much as that of the defendant, eventually coming to a verdict filled with certainty and doubt. Later adapted into a feature film starring Henry Fonda and Lee J. Cobb, this production is directed by David Glenn.

Tickets are $12 (adult) and $6 (student). Purchase tickets online or call (205) 726-2853.
