What is the Factbook?

The Samford University Fact Book is an annual compilation of University data with the purpose of serving as a resource to the University community as well as the public at large.  All data contained in the Fact Book reflects official fall census data and contains many of the common data definitions put forth by the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data Survey (IPEDS).  Much of the Fact Book is generated through various reports that Institutional Effectiveness is required to provide to Federal, State, and private organizations. The information in the Fact Book can be used for reporting, grant documentation, and for strategic planning.

The useful compendium of information provides answers to questions asked frequently by staff, faculty, and outside entities.   Therefore, each annual publication represents growth, progress, and a further refining process of the university.
