Office of Financial Aid. Samford University offers various scholarships
(both merit and need-based), state and federal grants, federal
and private loans, and federal work opportunities to students
who qualify. For instructions and further information about
applying for these different programs, please use the links
listed above. In addition, you can get up-to-date information
regarding your individualized award, fees, class schedule and
more by logging in to the Samford
University Portal. From there, click on the Banner tab at
the top and then on to the Student and Financial Aid link through
Banner Self-Service.
Beginning January 1, 2009,
you can begin filing your 2009-2010 FAFSA (Free Application
for Federal Student Aid) online at www.FAFSA.ed.gov.
The 2009-2010 FAFSA is valid Fall 2009 through Summer 2010.
Remember, Samford's priority date for FAFSA filers is March
1 each year.
