Career Resource Library

The Career Development Center maintains a resource library for career-related books and periodicals.Our books include titles on majors, career fields, resume writing, interviewing, and job search. Most titles are available to be checked out and are catalogued in the Samford University Library. Our handouts include topics such as Myers-Briggs types, informational interviewing, decision-making, interview preparation, majors at Samford University, and resumes/cover letters.

Students, faculty and staff  may stop by during Career Development Center business hours to use the resource library or to check out books. 

The Career Development Center is proud to present the VIRTUAL CAREER LIBRARY (VCL) to the Samford Community. 

This online resource provides access to over 6,000 pages of career guidance information, including digital career books, employment news videos, virtual job data cards, and occupational videos that will help you achieve career and life success.

This resource is free of charge to Samford students, alumni, faculty and staff. TO ACCESS THE VCL, please click here. You will need your Samford username and password. Alumni, if you do not have a current username and password, please contact Samford University's Alumni Association.
