Host a Chinese student at Samford.

A common thread...

LaurenSharpe

“I will forever be grateful for the department and the discipline, and I know that what I’ve learned at Samford and the people I met will be more than present in my work in the journalism industry.”

– Lauren Sharpe, Journalism and Mass Communication, ‘11

This fall you will receive a letter from your class agent. In your letter you will discover a common thread of experiences from extracurricular activities to degree programs that have uniquely shaped each student during their time at Samford.

Lauren’s Samford experience, which was made possible by faithful alumni, took her to Washington, D.C. for a Tim Robinson Fellowship with The Washington Post.

As you read your letter, consider the opportunities you have enjoyed because of your Samford experience and what you can make possible for today’s Samford students.

We hope you will join us on campus during Homecoming Weekend, October 28-29 and experience the growth our beautiful campus had been afforded since your last visit!

On behalf of Samford’s students, faculty, and staff, thank you for your support!
