Biographical Information

A National Merit Finalist, Isaac has maintained his commitment to academic excellence at Samford, having served as a John Howard Scholar, made the Dean’s List every semester and received multiple awards and scholarships from the religion and philosophy departments. He also presented research at the 2014 annual conference of the Southeastern Commission for the Study of Religion and has published work in the 2014 Agora: Journal for Undergraduate Scholarly Papers. Additionally, he will serve as the co-managing editor for the Samford Undergraduate Research Journal this fall. An avid outdoorsman who is passionate about the environment, Isaac served as a volunteer at Samford’s Building Our Energy Future symposium this past spring and is an active member of Samford’s chapter of Restoring Eden. Isaac intends to become a religion professor, and one of his life goals is to find a true communion between God, man, and nature.
