- Links to online tutorials for Outlook 2007, Excel 2007, and PowerPoint 2007 have now been added under Training. We will be scheduling another round of Positive Interactions classes as well as some other classroom training. Dates and times for these classes will be announced soon.
- Financial education webinars from TIAA-CREF have been added on our website in the Tax Deferred Annuity section. These can be accessed from any pc and run anywhere from 10-20 minutes in length. Currently there are six different web presentations that can be viewed. There is a moderator that goes through slides. We have also added helpful links to retirement planning tools and calculators from both TIAA-CREF and GuideStone in the Tax Deferred Annuity section.
Upcoming Events
• Meetings will be held on the Samford campus regarding the addition of Preferred Long Term Care (LTC) from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama to Samford's benefits pacakge. You may attend any of these sessions but you must attend an individual session in order to purchase LTC:
Tuesday September 9 – Brock Forum, general sessions with a power point presentation at 8:30, 9:30 and 10:30a and 1:30 and 2:30p.
Wednesday September 10– Conference room UC112, individual sessions on an appointment only basis. LTC representative available from 8:30a-11:00a and 1:30p-3:30p. You can make your appointment during the September 9th session.
Thursday September 11-
- Morning Meetings: Samford Hall 219, individual session on an appointment only basis. LTC representatives available from 8:30a-11:00a. You can make your appointment during the September 9 session.
- Afternoon Meetings: Samford Hall 315, individual sessions on an appointment only basis. LTC representative available from 1:30p – 3:30p. You can make your appointment during the September 9th session.
