From years past, it can be stated that Orientation Leaders are the most significant contact new students make while attending Bulldog Days. Orientation Leaders convey information to new students and their families about university programs and services. They assist with all Orientation events and play a vital role in helping to facilitate the adjustment of new students to the campus community. The Orientation Leader position is an outstanding opportunity for any student interested in gaining leadership skills.

- Assuming the role of an Orientation Leader is a prestigious achievement. Interested candidates should meet the established qualifications and requirements.
- Orientation Leaders are required to help with a variety of duties as they pertain to new student and transfer student orientation, summer send-off parties, outdoor adventure and Family Weekend.
- Orientation Leaders serve Samford in their position from November to November. A sample calendar of important dates can be viewed here.
