Enterprise Applications Group 

Technology Service's Enterprise Application Group (EAG) is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of shared applications for Samford University.  Applications include those written in-house and vendor supplied.  The applications are both client - server and web based. The major administrative application system that EAG supports is Banner, with modules for General, Student, Financial Aid, Finance, Advancement, and Human Resources, as well as Banner's accompanying Oracle forms interface (INB) and the web interface (Self Service).  Some of the additional applications which are supported are CBORD Campus Card System, Convocation System, DegreeWorks, Continuity 2000, EVE Event System, Samford on Facebook, OrgSync, TM1 Financial Reporting System, R25, and the RAVE Campus Alert System.  Over 1,000 Argos reports have been developed for the campus.  Web development includes applications such as Mobile Apps (in partnership with the Web Services office), Family Weekend site, FreshMIN Retreat, T2 System Student Decals, SGA and Homecoming Online Voting, and Systems for ‘checking in’ using the Samford Card.  SharePoint development has established sites for such areas as Chemistry, Music, Nursing, University Curriculum Committee, Accounting, and the Grants office.
