Allison Frederick is a Piano Performance and Pedagogy major at Samford University, studying under Dr. Jason Terry. She currently serves as Secretary of Samford’s collegiate chapter of MTNA and is a member of the Omicron Gamma chapter of Delta Omicron. Previously to college, Allison was a piano student at Samford’s Academy of the Arts for 10 years, where she studied under Connie Macon. She participated in the annual National Federation of Music Clubs’ Solo Festival Auditions from 2012-2021 and in the AMTA Piano Auditions from 2013-2021 (District & State). She consistently received outstanding and superior ratings in theory and performance at both events. Outside of performing, Allison has a love of teaching piano. She believes that music is a gift and she finds excitement in seeing her students develop that gift by growing in their knowledge and love of the piano.
