Forms for Undergraduate Applicants

Although the regularly scheduled audition and interview weekends for fall 2014 enrollment have concluded, students planning to pursue a major in music and theatre can still schedule an audition for acceptance into those programs by contacting Arts Recruiter Bonnie Wootan (arts@samford.edu or 205-726-4524).

Information for students seeking fall 2015 enrollment:

Students majoring in music and theatre are required to audition for admission to the School of the Arts.  On-campus auditions are strongly encouraged; our tentative dates for audition and interview weekend dates for students seeking fall 2015 enrollment are November 14-15, February 6-7, and February 27-28.  An e-mail from arts@samford.edu will be sent to confirm your requested audition/interview weekend within five business days of the receipt of your Music or Theatre Application.  If you experience difficulties with the forms, please contact the Arts Recruiter Bonnie Wootan at 205-726-4524 or arts@samford.edu.  Students with exceptional circumstances may request to submit a DVD audition or schedule an individual audition; please contact Arts Recruiter Bonnie Wootan at arts@samford.edu to discuss these options.

Students majoring in fine art, graphic design, or interior design have the option to submit an electronic portfolio by February 1, 2015, for School of the Arts scholarship consideration.  A portfolio is not required for entering freshmen to declare a major in these programs.  High school juniors, seniors, and transfer students are encouraged but not required to attend Art and Design Day on Saturday, November 15, 2014, to take two workshops taught by the faculty.  Online registration will be available in August 2014, and students may contact Arts Recruiter Bonnie Wootan at arts@samford.edu with any questions.

Students should first apply for general admission to Samford through the Office of Admission before completing one of the following forms related to fall 2014 enrollment.  Forms for fall 2015 enrollment will be updated in August 2014.
