Foods and Nutrition

The foods and nutrition major is designed to prepare students for nutrition related careers such as health and wellness, fitness, culinary arts, food service, food journalism or marketing. The strength of this major is the flexibility in selecting a minor or concentration that fulfills the students' goals in a variety of professions. Coursework includes hands-on labs, externships, service-learning and research.
