Kayla Magnus is a student at Samford University pursuing a degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy. Kayla has over 12 years of experience with piano performance and has participated in many local and regional competitions. She also has extensive experience performing as a church musician and is currently working as a piano instructor at Samford’s Academy of the Arts. The focus of her nonmusical work experience is with children ages infant to early high school as caretaker, gymnastics instructor, and teacher. Upon graduating she hopes to continue her career as an educator, focusing on bringing music education to low income areas.
