Evan Musgraves joined the Beeson staff in 2017. Evan grew up in southern California and moved to Birmingham in 2009 to attend Samford University. After completing a degree in history and religion, Evan joined Beeson Divinity School as a student in 2013. He graduated from Beeson with a Master of Divinity degree in the spring of 2017. In his position as research associate to Timothy George, Evan conducts research related to Dr. George’s various writing and speaking projects and provides instruction and support for Dr. George's courses. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Baptist history at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Evan is married to Anna. They have two sons, Harrison and Owen, a daughter, Hattie Jane. They are members of Christ Fellowship Church in Homewood.
