I chose Cumberland because of the welcoming community and reputation for excellence in academics and trial advocacy. Cumberland truly offers a place for students to pursue academic interests while being surrounded by supportive colleagues and faculty.

What do you most enjoy about studying law in Birmingham? What do you like to do in Birmingham?

I enjoy studying in Birmingham because it provides big-city opportunities with a small-city feel.

If you could give any advice to your Pre-Law school self, what would you say?

Take every risk you can and truly soak up the law school experience. Your first year of law school truly flies by. Your first year is the time to get your feet wet and try new things. You never know if you enjoy something until you try!

What do you plan to do after graduation?

After graduation I plan to work as a Criminal Prosecutor.
