Angela Santiago is a Trussville, Alabama native and elementary art educator in the Homewood area. Now in her eighth year of teaching art, she has also spent the past three years leading summer art camps in the Birmingham area, encouraging young artists to explore, experiment, and build confidence through creativity.

Angela earned her master’s degree in Art Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and studied Art History at the University of Alabama. She especially enjoys working with polymer clay, collage and mixed media, and colored pencil, finding inspiration in her pets, favorite artists, nature, and the colors around her.

Angela is excited to join Samford Academy of the Arts and looks forward to sharing a variety of materials, techniques, and creative experiences while helping young artists discover their own unique artistic voices.
