There are so many ways that you can be an involved member of the Samford University Alumni Association. With 17 (and growing) regional chapters and clubs across the country in addition to our many Birmingham-based events, there is always something going on in our organization. We also have many opportunities to serve in leadership roles and participate in service opportunities, as well as an endless list of meaningful ways to financially give to the university.

As a member of the SUAA, we ask that you consider being involved in three ways:

1)      Pray.  Pray for Samford. Pray for our leadership. Pray for our students. Pray for our faculty/staff. Pray for our fellow alumni.

2)      AttendAttend an event on campus or in your city that will provide meaningful connections with other Samford alumni. If you don’t live in an area where Samford events take place, we encourage you to talk to us about establishing a Samford Alumni Club in your city and helping foster the Samford community in your area.

3)      Give.  As a private, nonprofit institution, our success depends on the generous donations of people like you. Tuition only covers about 70% of a student’s Samford experience, not to mention the constant improvements Samford makes to remain a nationally renowned university. We depend on the investment of the Samford family to continue our alma mater’s rich tradition. No gift is too small.

There are other meaningful things that you can do as an SUAA member too. For example, you can serve the university as a volunteer or refer a high school student to learn more about Samford.
