A. Hamilton Reid Chapel, one of Samford University’s most symbolic buildings, is the perfect indoor location for couples to convey their love and commitment to one another. Rich in history and tradition, Reid Chapel was modeled in the image of the first Baptist church built in the Americas. Students at Samford experience many memorable events in this revered chapel, ranging from weekly convocation services to the Hanging of the Green. Reid Chapel has also served as a scenic backdrop for numerous University celebrations, ceremonies, and musical events located on Samford’s campus. Be a part of Samford University’s history as you start your life together in Reid Chapel.
The University Library supports Samford by acquiring, organizing, and preserving a broad, well-balanced spectrum of information and by providing access to that information through personal and technological services.

For the past 30 years, the Daniel House has provided a special opportunity for Samford students, faculty and friends to live and study in one of the most cosmopolitan and culturally rich. The Victorian townhouse is located in the heart of London near Kensington Gardens, and is only a short distance from the Gloucester Road tube.
As an alum of Samford University, you are eligible to stay as a house guest at several points during the year. If the Daniel House is not needed for academic purposes, a designated time is set aside for alumni to stay for a fee while on holiday.
The Daniel House is typically available for use during the month of July and first two weeks in August. The Daniel House is available to larger groups during the month of July. The individual rate is $80 per night/per person and space is allocated on a first come/first serve basis, and the group rate (15+) is $50 per night/per person. Reservations must be made by an alum, but all guests are not required to have a degree from Samford University.
For more information and to request short term housing at the Daniel House, please contact the Global Engagement Office at (205) 726-2741 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Currently, we are embarking on a major renovation for the Daniel House. To learn more about this effort, please visit the Daniel House Campaign.
Want a great piece of art work to remember your days in London? Order a watercolor print of the Daniel House and help make the Samford study abroad experience possible for other students.
