Global Voices: Empowered and Equipped Strengthening West African Women

Last year, Dr. Julia Higgins took a trip to Lome, Togo in West Africa and partnered with the International Missions Board to put on a women's conference for female Baptist leaders from across West Africa. About 75 women attended from Togo, Cameroon, and Ghana. She will share about her experience leading that conference and what it looks like to contextualize learning atctivities for ministry in different contexts in a talk entitled "Empowered and Equipped: Strengthening West African Women in Biblical Interpretation for the Ministry of Teaching."

Reformation Heritage Lectures

Join us for the 36th annual Reformation Heritage Lectures! This year's speaker is Dr. Mickey Mattox, Flack Family Foundation Chair and professor of theology at Hillsdale College. Mattox will preach in chapel on Oct. 29 and deliver lectures on Oct. 30 and 31 in N-101. Both the chapel service and the two lectures begin at 11 a.m. each day and are free to the public. Mattox's Wednesday lecture is titled, “The Catholic Luther: Myth & History,” and his Thursday lecture is titled, “Heiko Oberman Revisited: What Luther Got Wrong."
