The Preaching Institute hosts one-day events on the Beeson campus in order to provide ongoing education and encouragement to preachers in their lives and ministries. Events include conversations with Beeson professors around their research and teaching, as well as workshops that address the homiletical movement of "Text to Sermon" from a variety of perspectives. Text to Sermon events are hosted on four consecutive Fridays during the fall and spring semesters. Lunch is provided for Beeson students and members of the Birmingham community. These Preaching Institute events are designed with the aim of strengthening both preachers and their preaching.
