In conjunction with teaching on the Cumberland School of Law faculty, Maddox is a partner at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP where he has been practicing for more than 20 years. In the last decade, Maddox has handled more national/multi-state attorneys general investigations and related consent judgments than any attorney in the United States. As practice group leader of Bradley’s Banking and Financial team, his work is focused on crisis management, negotiations, investigations and fraud matters, consumer financial services compliance and litigation, commercial real estate and the mortgage industry. Maddox graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a BA and MA before obtaining his JD from Cumberland School of Law. He is a member of the Alabama, Georgia, District of Columbia, New York, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas state bars and is admitted to practice before the Fifth Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals.
