The Southeastern Minority Job Fair is a legal interview program in which employers from all over the country interview 2L and 3L students for summer and permanent positions. Historically held in-person in Atlanta, this year’s fair will be held virtually via Zoom. Interested students are encouraged to register by September 2.

This year's program will help you with the changes in business law during COVID-19. Topics covered include mergers and acquisitions, chaos in insurance, labor and employment issues during COVID and beyond, and diversity in law firms and companies. We will also hear a Washington update and learn about attorney wellness.

The program will cover the effects of COVID-19 on employment law including telecommuting and cybersecurity, COVID testing, ADA/FMLA issues, remote work, and unemployment compensation among other issues. The program will also address social movements and their impact on the workplace and labor.
