Defamation Experience

The nationally acclaimed Defamation Experience begins with a riveting courtroom drama that explores issues of race, class, religion, gender and the law with a twist: the audience is the jury. Combined with an audience deliberation and a facilitated discussion, the Defamation Experience provides a unique opportunity for attendees to engage in civil discourse about the most pressing social issues of our day. As a part of Lead with Love Week, the Defamation Experience is presented by the Office of Diversity and Intercultural Initiatives in partnership with Cumberland School of Law, the Mann Center for Ethics and Leadership, the Student Activities Council and the Student Government Association. Convo credit is available for Samford students. Registration is required.
