In response to the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine receiving full approval by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Judge John Carroll spoke to local Birmingham news sources about possible legal issues surrounding vaccine mandates.
In the story published by WBRC Fox 6, "Will mandates increase after FDA approval of Pfizer vaccine?," Carroll specifically discussed the legality of employers mandating the vaccine to employees.
With ABC 33/40, Carroll similarly commented on Alabama's vaccine passport law as it relates to higher education in their story "Pfizer FDA approval has no impact on Alabama vaccine passport ban."
