Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law offers three distinct online programs for lawyers and non-lawyers alike.
The Master of Studies in Law (M.S.L.) degree is a thirty-six-hour degree program for non-lawyers interested in one of our compliance concentrations or legal project management. A customized course of study is also available. The M.S.L. program admits students for the fall term only and can be completed in 24 months.
The Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree is offered for students who have earned a Juris Doctor. Four concentrations are available. The LL.M. program admits students for the fall term only and can be completed in 24 months.
Certificate programs are available in four areas of study. Five or six courses are required to earn each certificate and can be completed in about a year. All certificate programs offer admission for the fall term and two programs offer summer admission.
