
Elizabeth Anthony serves as a career counselor in Cumberland School of Law's Career Development Office.
A graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law, she started her career with the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office where she worked for almost seven years. She then opened a general solo practice and worked in several areas. She developed a heart for representing indigent families, juveniles, and adoptive families; after which most of her practice focused on juvenile law and adoption.
She has five children adopted from China, two of whom work here at Samford.
Her undergraduate degree is in fine arts. She enjoys spending her free time with her children and attending school events, as well as photography, classical ballet and dance, theater, and SEC football and basketball.
