Chris Baldwin joined Samford University's Cumberland School of Law as an admission counselor on Nov. 1, 2023.

Growing up as an “Army brat”, she has lived many places in the U.S. as well as in Germany for three years.

She started college at the University of Tennessee at Martin. Moving to Birmingham, she completed her degree in business at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.   Her career path led her through years of sales, retail management and five years in the multifamily industry as a leasing consultant.

Following a spiritual calling, she studied and became an ordained chaplain with International Fellowship of Chaplains in 2010.  In 2014, she completed Clinical Pastoral Education internship and residency programs through Baptist Health Systems, serving at Shelby Baptist Medical Center.

Her home church is Kingwood in Alabaster where she is involved with the prayer ministry.
