What do you think is the BEST thing about Cumberland?

The best thing about Cumberland is the Professors and Staff. They have such a strong desire to know their students personally, and also want to help them whenever they are struggling. Their doors are literally always open, and you never have to be afraid to pop in and talk about anything from what we are learning in class, to just life. Everyone should take full advantage of how blessed we are to have such incredible instructors.

Why did you choose Cumberland?

I chose Cumberland because I knew that this was a place where I could thrive, and be the absolute best I can be.

What do you most enjoy about studying law in Birmingham? What do you like to do in Birmingham?

I love that Birmingham makes me feel like I am not just a student like I was in undergrad. I can eat incredible food, hang out with friends, or even watch local sports such as the Squadron. I love to eat at Abhi, or fun places like Tacos Don Tachos. There is no shortage of great food and places to enjoy in the city.

If you could give any advice to your pre-law school self, what would you say?

I would say to be proactive and get involved. The law school experience is what you make it, so don't be afraid to try new things or meet knew people because you never know how much you might enjoy something!

What do you plan to do after graduation?

After I pass the bar (fingers crossed), I plan to practice law in Alabama! I also plan to get another black lab!
