What do you think is the BEST thing about Cumberland?

The camaraderie among the students makes for a wonderful atmosphere.

Why did you choose Cumberland?

Cumberland focuses on real-world student success, rather than just the on-paper bragging points.

What do you most enjoy about studying law in Birmingham? What do you like to do in Birmingham?

I love the Birmingham area's offerings for outdoor recreation, as well as its restaurant and brewery scene. The hiking at Oak Mountain, Red Mountain, Ruffner Mountain, and Moss Rock parks are top-notch. Studying in Alabama's legal hub is quite the perk, too.

If you could give any advice to your pre-law school self, what would you say?

Be open to making friends within and without your section. Law school is full of interesting people who make life so much more enriching if you're willing to get to know them.

What do you plan to do after graduation?

I hope to work in environmental law to protect Alabama's biodiversity. We have the most diverse array of trees and fish of any state!
