What do you think is the BEST thing about Cumberland?

Cumberland is so accommodating to every student. If there is any problem that you can imagine a law student having, Cumberland has an immediate solution. When people say that it is a family here, they truly mean it!

Why did you choose Cumberland?

I chose Cumberland because of the prestige that surrounds the Trial Advocacy Program. I knew before I started law school that I wanted to be in the courtroom. Cumberland's performance and reputation in prior competitions has kept us at the top of the rankings. I want to carry on that legacy to ensure Cumberland remains at the top. The experience and knowledge that you will gain will be invaluable not only as a law student but also as a future attorney

What do you most enjoy about studying law in Birmingham? What do you like to do in Birmingham?

What I enjoy most about studying law in Birmingham is the endless networking opportunities. Cumberland is located in the "legal hub" of Alabama. The amount of attorneys, firms, and judges that are located within the city gives you comfort in applying for summer internships and externships!

If you could give any advice to your pre-law school self, what would you say?

If I could give any advice to my pre-law school self, I would say three things. First, break up with procrastination. Second, take care of yourself. Third and most importantly, fully trust the plan God has for you.

What do you plan to do after graduation?

After graduation I plan on going into either civil or criminal litigation in the South.
