Currently an adjunct professor of economics in the Brock School of Business concentrating primarily on Money and Banking and Macroeconomics. I have more than 30 years of commercial banking experience all in the finance/investments/treasury areas.
I retired from AmSouth Bancorporation (now Regions Financial) on December 31, 2006 after serving as Executive Vice President and Treasurer for more than 11 years. Previous banking experience includes senior management positions at SunTrust, Bank of America and predecessor companies and then Chairman of the Board of Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta.
Currently, owner of Financial Empowerment, LLC, a small business and personal financial counsulting company. Education includes a B.S. degree in Finance and Economics from Marquette University and M.A. degree in Economics from the University of Central Florida.
