Voted "Most Respected Female"  of her graduating class,Bailey was highly involved in her high school's Honor Council, PeerLeader Program, Student Council, and Speech & DebateTeam. During her freshman year at Samford, Bailey was a memberof Freshman Forum, Freshman Representative Council, Alpha LambdaDelta Freshman Honors Fraternity, Alpha Delta Pi Sorority,and occasionally wrote forthe SamfordCrimson. Bailey alsovolunteered with The Exceptional Foundation and SouthtownTutoring.
