Samford University will close for several days during the Christmas holiday season.  The University will be closed the week of Dec. 21-27.  It will reopen Dec. 28-30, and then close again Dec. 31-Jan. 1.

The main gate will be closed at 10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, and reopen at 6 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 27.  It will be closed again at 10 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, and reopen at 6 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2.  During times the university is closed, the west gate entrance will be staffed by the Samford department of public safety to assist anyone needing campus access.

Emergencies during the holiday break should be directed to the department of public safety at (205) 726-2020.  All maintenance issues during the break will be handled by the office of operations and planning’s on-call line at (205) 726-2711.
