Giving & Donors

Unyielding in our commitment to the Samford student-athlete experience, our top priority is building the next generation of champions within a Christ-centered environment. This is only made possible by sustained contributions.

Your Impact

Unrestricted Gifts

The most direct way you can make an impact across the widest range of student-athletes is through year over year increased unrestricted gifts to the Bulldog Club Excellence Fund. Securing unrestricted gifts will always be a top priority for Samford Athletics as these gifts provide our department with the most flexibility to meet immediate needs and capitalize on worthy opportunities across each of our sports and support areas. With your unrestricted support, you position every Samford student-athlete for excellence in the classroom, in competition and in life well after graduation.

Restricted Gifts

Restricted gifts are designated to a particular sport, area or project. A restricted gift is earmarked for a designated fund and can only be spent by that specific sport or department. Restricted gifts are a powerful way to truly elevate a particular program or student-athlete experience for any one of our 17 sports.

Donor Hospitality

Inside the Hospitality Tent

Donors who designate their 2022-23 gift to the Bulldog Club Excellence Fund at the All-Conference level or higher are eligible to participate in gameday donor hospitality for the football and men’s basketball seasons. Hospitality credentials are assessed at $50 per person per sport for the duration of the regular season. Gameday reserved parking is provided to fans who have purchased a season ticket for that respective sport based on accrued Priority Points and availability.

Capital Campaigns

The $65 million recreation complex is the largest capital project in the university’s history and includes new spaces for mental and physical health resources.
