For more than 160 years Cumberland School of Law has been educating lawyers who excel in scholarship and in making a difference in their community and their profession. In its long history, the Cumberland School of Law has produced more than 12,000 law graduates and boasts more than 8,000 active alumni, representing academic excellence in the legal field in nearly every state and several foreign countries. You’ll find our graduates serving as judges and elected representatives, prosecuting crimes as district and U.S. attorneys, teaching, performing research, and in countless other ways, including significant pro bono work, bringing honor to the profession and to the law school.

Our national alumni association is a strong and active organization working to support and strengthen the ties among graduates of the Cumberland School of Law. In addition to providing significant financial contributions to support the institution (and keep tuition affordable), our alumni assist with continuing legal education and career development programs, serve on advisory boards, chair class reunions, host receptions and other events and mentor students from their towns and cities.
