Undergraduate Institution and Graduation Year

My passion is litigation, both civil and criminal.
The beach, fishing and golf.
What do you think is the best thing about Cumberland?
The best thing about Cumberland is the people. Everyone is supportive and competitive in a way that makes everyone a better member of the legal profession.
Why did you choose Cumberland?
I came to Cumberland because of their excellence in trial advocacy. Since my goal is to practice law as a litigator, I knew Cumberland would give me the highest level of training to achieve that goal.
What do you most enjoy about studying law in Birmingham? What do you like to do in Birmingham?
Coming from a relatively small town, I find that Birmingham offers many options for things to do outside of class. I really enjoy Topgolf and spending time downtown!

If you could give any advice to your pre-law school self, what would you say?
Start preparing for your first semester over the summer. Invest in a supplement for all the basic courses and just read a chapter or two a week before classes start. That way when classes begin you won't be completely lost.
What do you plan to do after graduation?
I plan to practice law as a litigator, either in North Carolina, Virginia, or Alabama.
