Margaret Johnson Retires from School of Health Professions
After 9 years of faithful service to Samford University, Margaret Johnson retired at the conclusion of the 2021-22 academic year.

Arriving in 2013, she was hired as an associate professor and the chair of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders in the School of Health Professions. Johnson retired as a full professor and chair of the same department.

Samford University’s Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders was named Scholar’s Bowl Champions in the inaugural Speech and Hearing Association of Alabama’s (SHAA) Quest for the Cup, an intercollegiate scholar’s bowl held during the Annual SHAA Convention, Feb. 17.
