Andrea Bowens joined the Samford faculty from physical therapy clinical practice. Bowens clinical experience includes working in both an outpatient orthopedic clinic and a sports medicine clinic at a Birmingham-area high school. Her clinical interests have focused on post-operative rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and return-to-sport and injury prevention programs. Research interests have included outcomes related to teaching and learning strategies in physical therapist education and issues impacting the physical therapy workforce.
