Michelle joined Samford’s Department of Physical Therapy in 2016, after years of providing administrative support in the church setting. She brings over 20 years of experience in office management, excelling in organization and implementing new processes. She is one of the first faces students see upon entering the department and exemplifies the department's mission by caring for each students' academic, professional, emotional and spiritual success.

Just prior to joining the physical therapy team, Michelle and her husband along with two of their daughters served on the mission field in the Dominican Republic. For three years they networked and developed key relationships with local churches and Christians to further the advancement of the gospel and orphan care. Michelle has enjoyed continuing that passion for missions through service learning opportunities with Physical Therapy students.

Michelle and her husband Jason are members of Grace Fellowship Church in Homewood, AL. Together they lead a home group and Jason serves as a Lay Elder. They reside in Hoover, AL and have 3 adult daughters and two young granddaughters.
