Exercise Science
Our Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science (Pre-Physical Therapy) allows you to help others lead better, healthier lives. Graduates are prepared to seamlessly transition into entry-level doctorate degree programs in physical therapy.
Health Science
Our health sciences major provides students with outstanding classroom teaching, practical experiences, undergraduate research, mentoring and service. The Department of Kinesiology’s Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences allows you to explore the various professions within the broad area of health.
Sport Administration
Bachelor of Science in Sport Administration prepares students for leadership roles in the sports industry through a strong foundation in business principles, hands-on experience, and industry-specific knowledge.
Sports Medicine
The sports medicine major blends science, health care and athletic performance to prepare students for careers in injury prevention, rehabilitation and performance. Graduates receive training in areas like nutrition, exercise and weight management, equipping them for graduate study in medical, dental, physician assistant, optometry or pharmacy programs.
Student Research
All students in the Department of Kinesiology are required to conduct a year-long research project during their senior year. Our past graduates have created projects that won awards at national, regional and state research competitions, have been published in peer-reviewed journals and have been presented at professional conferences from the state level to the international level.
