What do you think is the best thing about Cumberland School of Law?

The best thing about Cumberland is simply the people. Everyone from the staff to the professors have truly made Cumberland a home away from home. They truly care about your wellbeing, and they understand what you are going through as a law student.

Why did you choose Cumberland School of Law?

I chose Cumberland because of the collegial atmosphere that is present here. The “dog-eat-dog” mentality between law students simply does not exist at Cumberland.

What do you most enjoy about studying law in Birmingham? What do you like to do in Birmingham?

Birmingham has a huge legal market with several networking opportunities for students to attend to enhance their personal and professional development. Another thing Birmingham has is great food, and everybody loves great food. There are plenty of restaurants and breweries in town that will credit to your “1L-15”. Birmingham is also centrally located to some of the biggest and most adventurous cities in the South like Nashville and Atlanta. A trip to the Alabama beaches is also feasible from Birmingham.

Student Organizations/Extracurricular Activities

If you could give any advice to your pre-law school self, what would you say?

Learn how to type faster or take typing classes if you are not proficient in keyboarding. Thank me later!

What do you plan to do after graduation?

After graduation, I plan to pursue a career in civil litigation.
