The Lucille Stewart Beeson Law Library would like to welcome the members of the Cumberland School of Law community back for Spring 2021. The following is information about the law library to keep in mind as you progress through the semester.
Law Library Hours:
Monday–Friday: 7:30 a.m.–10 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m.– 10 p.m.
(Any changes will be posted on the library’s website.)
Only Cumberland students, faculty and staff will be allowed in the law library.
Requests by others to use the law library should be submitted to Gregory K. Laughlin, director of the law library, at
A Samford University ID is required to enter the law library. 
Samford Cards will, also, be needed to check out books and other materials. The identification cards can be obtained by contacting the Department of Public Safety and Emergency Management.
Face masks and physical distancing is required of all patrons.
Patrons who do not follow this rule may be subjected to suspension or expulsion from the law library.
No food or beverages will be permitted.
Vending machines and water fountains have been, temporarily, turned off.
