Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law continues to demonstrate strong employment outcomes, with 94.9% of Class of 2025 graduates who were eligible for employment securing positions 10 months after graduation.
The Class of 2025 also reported a high level of placement in professional legal roles. Among those employed, 96% are working in positions that are either bar-required or classified as JD-preferred, demonstrating continued demand for Cumberland-trained legal professionals across a range of legal and business sectors.
“Our approach to career development is highly individualized, and we emphasize consistent preparation, practical experience and professional development from the moment students arrive,” Paige Yarbrough, director of career development, said. “These students fully engaged in that process, and their outcomes reflect that effort.”
The class also experienced notable success in the competitive area of judicial clerkships, with seven graduates earning placements at both the federal and state levels—three at the federal level and four at the state level.
Together, these outcomes highlight Cumberland School of Law’s continued ability to equip graduates with the skills, experience and professional opportunities needed to pursue a range of legal careers, from private practice to judicial service.
