Undergraduate and graduate students make up the Animate summer staff.
Do you want an opportunity to lead? Are you serious about worship that glorifies God, reflects Christ, and engages the transformative work of the Holy Spirit? Do you have a desire to help high school students grow as worshipers, worship leaders, and disciples of Christ? Apply to work Animate 2020! Equipping teenagers and their adult mentors to engage worship practices that are biblical, Christ-centered, intergenerational, and artistic is what Animate is all about. A week of your summer will make an impact that lasts a lifetime.
At Animate, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to do both: practice leadership and explore ministry with high school students and their adult mentors. We have places on our team for you to mentor high school students in small groups, lead worship for morning and evening services, teach in afternoon workshops, and engage in a host of other artistic activities throughout the week. In the process, you’ll learn more about yourself, your gifts in the body of Christ, and you’ll even have space to explore the call of God on your own life.
Join our team, and find yourself immersed in a community of other college students just like you, looking to make a difference in the lives of others, and in the life of the church, all for the sake of sharing Christ in this world.
Applications open November 15, 2019 and are due by February 1, 2020. Applications will be reviewed, and selected applicants will be invited to interview during the weeks of February 10-26, 2020. Student staff for Animate 2020 will be named February 28, 2020 through an email to all applicants.
