Australian Clergyman to Present Preaching Lectures at Samford

The Very Rev. Phillip Jensen, Dean of St. Andrew's Cathedral, Sydney, Australia, will present the William E. Conger, Jr., Lectures on Biblical Preaching at Samford University Feb. 21-23.

The lectures, sponsored by Samford's Beeson Divinity School, will be at 11 a.m. each day in Andrew Gerow Hodges Chapel. The public is invited free of charge.

Jensen is a former chaplain to the University of New South Wales and rector of St. Matthias Church. He is the author of the popular "Two Ways to Live" evangelistic tract and founder of The Briefing magazine. He was named to his present post in 2003.

A discussion luncheon will follow the lecture on Wednesday, Feb. 22. Cost is $6. For luncheon reservations, call 800-888-8266.
